come fly with me...
the last days were about building up walls for the expo and grids for my flyer.
the grid seems to work but still i have some minor problems i'll have to talk about with ina on monday.
break a leg!
almost everything is printed and ready for take off.
i'm also thinking of using some features from the flyer for my portfolio-layout.

everybody's business
licht bakken
yesterday was about silkscreening (yeah! it's alive and kicking!!!) and plotting (the new plotter is awesome! the same goes for the new papers!!!).
today was about silkscreening and plotting as well. tomorrow will be too. sounds boring?
but it totally is not! 50% of the printing work is done (excluding business-cards and exhibition flyer...).
as everyone of us knows, time is running.
so is sweat, as everyone of us knows as well.
first test with display-translucent-dingsbums-folie...

paperworks
i'm busy with testprints. usually i like surprises, but the colorvariations don't belong amongst them. tja. so it's primary about deciding which paper to choose for the posters is not easy. i want to use different papers for different styles or pieces - glossy, sketchy, satin...
besides i'm working on a grid a presentation layout.
tomorrow i'll go looking for wood for putting the prints on - i need some kind of a reinforcing carrierplate.

these shoes are made for...
have to go on with the other posters from this serie...
works better than just the graphic - at least i think so.
yet i'm not sure about the colors and things like that but i'll know by working on...
i'll have to see whether the printing raster is too small for the actual prints. tomorrow it will be tested.
thanks a lot, julia, for your shoes! ❤

scanning
i prepared some documents at the aki this afternoon due to being able to print some of my works a little bit bigger than 10x15cm...
also i scanned some negatives from the last months. discovered a lot and experienced quite a few surprises.
some photos weren't printed an i saw them today for the first time.
actually those discoveries can be useful, some more, some less...
